This cutting-edge educational facility is strategically positioned in Dubai Internet City, empowering Group-IB to deliver top-tier, analyst-driven training in cybersecurity to IT and security professionals across the Middle East and Africa (MEA).
The hub’s offering includes specialized training and simulation modules tailored to the needs of participants. These programs encompass an exhaustive range of cybersecurity topics, such as incident management, digital forensics, threat detection, and advanced digital crime studies. Led by Group-IB’s elite GCFA, EnCE, and MCFE certified analysts—boasting over 70,000 hours of collective incident response experience—the center is committed to delivering practical knowledge, imparting real-world insights, and sharing up-to-the-minute data on emerging cyber threats. To maintain its relevance and effectiveness, the Group-IB Training Program is also regularly refined to include timely and pertinent cybersecurity information.
Students at this center are granted the unique opportunity to engage in practical exercises based on authentic cyberattack scenarios, constituting up to 70% of the entire course duration. This emphasis on hands-on training ensures that graduates are well-equipped to apply their newfound skills in real-world situations. In May 2021, Group-IB unveiled its MEA-centric Digital Crime Resistance Center. The decision to establish the MEA headquarters in the UAE stemmed from the nation’s influential role in global efforts to curb cybercrime. The regional hub is fully equipped with Group-IB’s comprehensive technological capabilities and is manned by experts from the organization’s essential divisions including High-Tech Crime Investigations, the DFIR lab, Threat Intelligence, CERT-GIB, Fraud Protection, and Digital Risk Protection departments.
