Qatari Delegation Participates in Regional Digital Safety Week

The President of the National Digital Safety Agency, Engineer AbdulRahman bin Ali Al Farahid Al Maliki, took part in the Regional Digital Safety Week, hosted by the Arab Regional Digital Security Center in Abu Dhabi, UAE from October 9-13.

During the event, Engineer Al Maliki marked his presence at the conference’s inauguration and engaged in discussions during the 11th Arab Digital Safety Cooperation Gathering. This gathering brought together leaders and representatives from digital safety agencies of 18 Arab nations, emphasizing the significance of enhancing collaborative strategies to bolster digital safety across the Arab domain.

Separately, a specialized unit from the National Digital Fusion Affairs under the National Digital Safety Agency partook in the 11th Regional Digital Safety Exercise steered by FIRST and ARCC.

The Arab Regional Center for Digital Safety stands out as a pivotal conduit for fostering communication and mutual endeavors among the nations of the Arab region in the realm of digital safety. This institution dedicates its efforts towards overseeing the execution of programs tied to the International Telecommunication Union. Furthermore, its mission encompasses satisfying digital safety stipulations, serving as a unifying hub for its 22 member nations, overseeing regional digital safety ventures and blueprints, orchestrating regional research and seminars, and bolstering digital safety knowledge and proficiency pertinent to IT infrastructures.
