The UAE Cyber Security Council (CSC UAE) entered into a collaboration with Kaspersky by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The primary aim of this partnership is to enhance cyber readiness and resilience across diverse sectors of the nation’s economy.

This significant MoU was formalized by Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, representing the UAE Cyber Security Council, and Andrey Efremov, representing his position as the Chief Business Development Officer at Kaspersky, during the notable GITEX Global 2023 event.

With the formation of this agreement, the two organizations will actively cooperate to disseminate knowledge related to the identification, investigation, and timely response to emergent cyberthreats. Furthermore, their collaborative efforts will focus on the exchange of insights regarding the latest malware trends, potential compromise indicators, and the overarching security risks that pose challenges to vital economic components, such as the nation’s essential infrastructure.

Motivated by the collective objective to amplify national cyber capabilities, the UAE Cyber Security Council and Kaspersky are poised to roll out and orchestrate experiential training sessions and comprehensive technical workshops across the economic spectrum. This is targeted at countering the myriad information security threats. Part of their joint strategy encompasses the exchange of innovative ideas and the distribution of cybersecurity educational resources to reinforce learning initiatives.
