Weekly Cybersecurity M&A Roundup (September 28 – October 4)

Let’s take a look at a brief overview of new Cybersecurity M&A Roundup from last week. In the spotlight: Domotz, GlassWire, Neovera, 10-D Security, AppliedCS, ProofID, Regatta, Recast Software, Liquit, Sapphire, Awen Collective, Stratascale, Vector0, WatchGuard Technologies, CyGlass Technology Services.

Domotz, a leader in network monitoring and management, has acquired GlassWire, renowned for its endpoint security and traffic monitoring solutions. Following this strategic move, Domotz introduced GlassWire for Business, a cutting-edge product emphasizing endpoint visibility, robust network security, and sophisticated traffic monitoring functionalities.

In a significant development, Neovera, an acclaimed cybersecurity and managed services provider, has confirmed its acquisition of 10-D Security and its affiliated entity, AppliedCS. 10-D Security, with its prowess in cybersecurity, risk assessment, IT compliance, and audit evaluations, will augment Neovera’s expertise in cybersecurity and regulatory compliance.

ProofID, a stalwart in the identity and access management (IAM) sector, has taken under its wing the identity governance and administration (IGA) expert, Regatta. This merger is projected to push the combined entity’s revenue past the $32 million mark in 2023. While Regatta will initially operate under the moniker ‘a ProofID company’, plans for its complete assimilation into ProofID are on the horizon.

In a move that cements its stance in endpoint and application management, endpoint management heavyweight Recast Software has sealed a deal with the Netherlands-based application management firm, Liquit. This partnership allows Recast to present a comprehensive application delivery solution to its clientele.

The UK’s cybersecurity frontrunner, Sapphire, has unveiled its acquisition of Awen Collective, a firm with a niche in mitigating cyber vulnerabilities in operational technology (OT). This merger reinforces Sapphire’s suite of services, positioning it as a formidable ally for UK-based enterprises seeking to fortify both their IT and OT domains against cyber onslaughts.

Stratascale, a titan in cybersecurity and advanced tech solutions, has integrated attack surface management (ASM) specialist, Vector0, into its fold. This strategic acquisition amplifies Stratascale’s cybersecurity portfolio, rendering its services even more formidable.

Rounding out this wave of acquisitions, WatchGuard Technologies, a luminary in network security, has procured CyGlass Technology Services. CyGlass’s AI-infused technologies promise to augment WatchGuard’s prowess in network detection, enhancing its response and expanding its XDR capabilities.
